We are so excited that Pennsylvania has introduced Laurel Caverns as it's official 125th State Park. Laurel Caverns is located in Farmington PA, and is our state's FIRST Cave State Park!

Our sincerest thanks to HVAB and to the committee of local leaders in hospitality and tourism for this esteemed recognition.

Woodward Cave is an impressive natural wonder that inspires awe, but it is the passionate work of our team that makes the visit to Woodward Cave particularly special for all our guests. We look forward to sharing another great season starting next May when we celebrate our 100th year anniversary!

We are excited to announce that Woodward Cave is nominated for the 2025 Happy Valley Hospitality Award in the category of Tourism Attraction of the Year and in the category of Rising Star.

Renovating our facilities, revamping our cave tour, and improving the guest experience have been at the forefront of our 99th Cave Tour season. It is a privilege to work with so many fantastic individuals throughout the season, and an honor to have those efforts recognized.

Exploring caves is one of the great thrills in life. But it's always important to remember safety first. Make sure you are only exploring in caves with expressed permission, and with all proper safety precautions in place.

A very big thank you to the Pleasant Gap Fire Company, Spring Township Police Department, Alpha Fire Company, Undine Fire Company, Mount Nittany EMS, Centre County Emergency Management, and personnel from the Nittany Grotto for your brave and timely help in this situation.

Two people were safely rescued on Wednesday after getting stuck in a Pleasant Gap cave that has been closed to the public for more than 20 years.
