Our summer cave tour season has come to a close, and we extend a very big thank you to all the folks who joined us at Woodward Cave as we celebrated our historic 100th year anniversary in 2026!

If you visited us this year for a cave tour or for one of our many awesome community events, let us know in the comments what you loved most.

Cave tours are all done for the 2026 season, but don't worry - you can find us in May 2027 as we start another year of amazing adventures from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Join us at Woodward Cave on Sunday September 6th as we explore the work of legendary Pennsylvania Folklorist Henry Shoemaker, with a special presentation from esteemed local author and historian Jeffrey R. Frazier.

Shoemaker’s work spans dozens of volumes, and include stories about Woodward Cave, Penn's Cave, local frontier highway robbers , forgotten hermits, legendary hunts, and more.

Labor Day is the last weekend of cave tours at Woodward Cave. After Monday we close the doors to protect the habitat for our bat residents during their yearly hibernation!

Folks it's been a great summer, but our 100th season is close to an end. Come out tomorrow for the LAST Cave In of the year. We welcome back our great friend Danny Brumbaugh aka The Psychic Beat One Man Band.

Solid Gold Concessions joins us as the featured food truck with their award winning barbecue PLUS we have an ice cream truck this week too. We'll have free tours in the cave for Kids 12 & Under assuming it isn't flooded from all this rain!
