Short Sands has been loved for a very long time. ❤️

Short Sands Beach in York, Maine, around 1904 and the same scene in 2026. The large building in the old photo was Young’s Hotel, which was built in 1875 and demolished in 1964. Most of the other buildings from the old photo are still standing, including the summer homes along Freeman Street in the distance.
