This was a first! Our last guest said our place gave them soul healing and added some Japanese in. My Google Lens said it translates about being healed in this place, great nature and hoping to come back. Love this ❤️

-Multiple repeat bookings this year either on third-party sites or on our direct booking website

As fun as it's been over the last 3.5 years, we do plan to shut down bookings for The Cozy Crab by the end of May 2027, at least on third-party sites. We might keep open a little longer for direct bookings only but we are still determining the best path forward. As some of you know, this is our retirement property and we have some great plans for it after closing 😄 We appreciate each and every one of you that have met us or shared your cottage stories over the years. We have met so many great people and learned of so many small businesses that came through our doors. Look forward to seeing you all again soon!

Thanks to Pam for being a great guest this weekend! She makes her own bug spray and even left some for future guests. When that runs out, we found some more at Ace Hardware in Yulee! She's not wrong about the bugs! Sometimes we have a great breeze and sometimes the bugs come out, just depends on the weather. Oh, and they got to see our manatee friends this weekend! So glad they are still hanging around!

Stayed on the water this weekend. The bugs were no joke. Got to say I was impressed how well my bug spray kept me from bites. No seeums during the day and mosquitos at night. No chemicals, non greasy and smells great with no citronella smell. You just have to shake well and rub into skin. Available All Hagan Ace Hardwares,Turner Ace in Fernandina, Lofton Creek Seafood, Farm to family in saint Marys, both Camden Ace, Gantt Hardware in Folkston, The bloom Bar in Kingsland and several local locations.

Manatee party of 5! I can't get enough of these guys. So cute watching 2 of them cuddling in the 2nd video. They have been popping up off and on over the last few weeks under our dock. Luckily we are in a quiet spot where not a lot of boats come through so they can enjoy their time ❤️
