Herewith our favourite nature spots, all within drive-able distance from Manchester!
1. Abraham Heights - This is an idyllic spot in the peak district, perfect for those searching for panoramic views. We recommend you to take the cable cars up the mountain. 💡 Top tip: If you buy your ticket online in advance, you will save a few quid. Once on the mountain, you can enjoy a lunch/coffee at the cafe and restaurant or take a tour of the lead caverns, still in tact over 300 years later!
2. Lake Windemere, Lake district - A popular location for those wanting a peaceful day out. Enjoy a delicious fish and chips at one of the many chippies here. Top rated on trip advisor is Boardwalk Bar & Grill. You can also hire boats to take on the lake!
3. Delamere Forest - Whether you're looking for a hiking or cycling trail, there are multiple trails to choose from at Delamere Forest. There is also a Go Ape adventure park here meaning there's plenty to choose from to fill your day!
