To take the summer off this year (2023) we decided to close for the whole year! We tried to take last year off and somehow it didn’t happen (although we met awesome folks and have no regrets!)so this is the year! See you in 2024!!! Hope everyone has a wonderful and healthy year!

After 2 years of lockdown all winter, we have decided to take a break this summer and not open Blythwood B&B. Aside from pre-existing bookings for early spring and fall, we will not be taking bookings this year (2022) which will give us time to make necessary infrastructure improvements and also just have fun! Have a great summer everyone!! Here's hoping that we turned the corner and put Covid behind us!

I am sorry that Blythwood Bed and Breakfast has been missing! It has been a slow re-start for us since restrictions have been lifted for Covid. In truth, it has been a "soft opening" with bookings coming in before I renewed my business license or even opened the doors. So, yes, we are open finally!!! The Fire Chief comes this morning for a safety inspection and then I will feel really ready to welcome guests! The garden is very lush and the sun is shining - I think we are all ready for holidays and fun!

Wow! It's 2021 and a new year is here! It's been a challenging winter living with Covid restrictions. I really hope that this year brings new opportunities; with vaccines on the way, the future looks brighter. Blythwood Bed and Breakfast continues to be closed and I will post here when we have an opening date. I think we are all looking forward to sunshine and being able to travel about the province and see our friends and family again! Until then, keep safe and truly, be kind!

Due to the ongoing rise in numbers of cases of Covid 19 here in B.C. and around the world, I have decided to close Blythwood Bed and Breakfast for the foreseeable future. We had a wonderful time meeting biking travelers in July and August; it was great to see how many people embraced "staying close to home". Keep well, keep safe and keep calm!

Wow! people are really excited to be able to get out and about now that Covid19 restrictions have lifted and we are in Phase 3! I am sorry to say that July and August are now fully booked. Have a great summer and enjoy all our local beauty!

After a long closure due to Covid-19 precautions, we are happy to announce we are opening for the season next week, Monday, July 6th. The sun is shining as I write this, so here's hoping summer has begun! I think we could all use a little summer relaxing!

The red chairs are back in place! Looking up from the barn the other day I couldn't help thinking about what a nice spot this is to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening and watch our mustang, Moon. We hope to be opening soon; likely sometime in July. Stay posted for opening day!
