For our Scottish followers this is a fantastic weather info page to follow , windy is a little ‘blue’ sometimes but his forecasts are second to none . He is also a big charity fundraiser so if you choose to follow him and use the weather forecasts , throw him a ‘coffee’ or donation every now and then it all adds up x.

WINDcast... Boelo Scotland

*Sunday October 25th 12 noon

Windy says mind now guys... these are GUSTS (worst case scenario). I've explained a few times in previous posts why I go with GUSTS and not just the wind

Anyway. Boelo as forecast is tracking over towards Norway in a NE direction with SHETLAND in the eye at the moment (be good for anyone from SHETLAND to confirm it's almost dead calm)

Right. First thing this morning the worst of the GUSTS were across parts of the WEST especially the NW... but now that Boelo has tracked further across, the GUSTS are following it

It's still GUSTY in the west and up round the top bitty, but the momentum has moved across to the EASTERN side of the country, so it should be ramping up across the NE (Aberdeenshire and the likes) the now

Orkney as well... the bottom end of Orkney should be GUSTING about 50/60mph with the top end almost dead calm, but this will change as the eye tracks up towards Norway in a NE direction (black line)

Guests - a good day to head to the beach as we have storm Austen heading in tonight and it’s set to demand a cozy inside day or two

We are very much embracing the beauty of the day today as the weekend is looking abit soggy and blowy… 😕

We will try our best to stay open but if the weather takes a turn and the storm is bad we may well close but for now we will open at 10am each day 💛
