One of the best parts of fall in Southern Vermont is that there’s some kind of little fair or festival happening almost every weekend. If you’re coming to COHO or doing the Inn to Inn Walking Tour, consider this your excuse to arrive a day early or stay a little longer 🍂

Here are a few coming up:

August 28–30: Bondville Fair
September 5: Honey Fest in Proctorsville
September 12: Weston Village Fair & Jubilee
September 19–20: Chester Festival
October 3: Chester Scarecrow Festival and Ludlow Harvest Fair
October 10: Ludlow Chili Cook-Off
October 11: Okemo’s Fall Into Winter Festival

We’re especially excited for the first annual Weston Village Fair & Jubilee, which will have food, music, local vendors, old-fashioned games and a dog costume contest sponsored by COHO 🐕

Adding an extra night before or after the walking tour is such a nice way to explore these towns without trying to squeeze anything else into your walking days. And honestly, a small-town Vermont fair during foliage season is pretty hard to beat.

We love seeing COHO filled with people celebrating something special.

This summer we hosted a private family reunion on the property, complete with dinner under the tent, plenty of good food, and everyone staying right here together.

COHO is available for private gatherings, family reunions, small weddings, retreats and full-property buyouts. If you’re looking for a relaxed Vermont setting where everyone can actually stay together, we’d love to talk.

Send us a message or email [email protected] for more information.

Not your average inn stay. Cozy corners, vintage arcade games, good coffee, mountain air, and a place where muddy hiking boots and great design somehow belong together. At COHO, we like things a little laid back, a little nostalgic, and a lot of fun. 🤍

The little arrival details are some of our favorite part of hosting ✨

Locally made Lake Champlain Chocolates on the nightstand, and a cozy Vermont stay ready for your arrival. 🍫☕

Sometimes it’s the smallest touches that make a place feel welcoming.
