CHANELLE WEBBER

A twenty-something year old animal lover, Jesus follower and home-maker. Working in Human Resources and Child Sponsorship for a international not-for-profit organisation, known as Destiny Rescue. Growing up in a large family, with two sisters and two brothers, I lived overseas in Cambodia as a volunteer for Destiny Rescue for 3 years. In my spare time, you will find me cooking up a storm, often without a recipe. I enjoy being outdoors, definitely not playing sports, but absorbing the world around me. I have a kitty, Baggins who is my baby (a very spoiled furbaby)...

I started making natural scented soy candles as an outlet to my busy day job. It would help me unwind and take my mind off work. It quickly became a hobby I enjoyed immensely, and after taking one of the candles to work one day, I was bombared by everyone wanting to order one...

So, naturally, it progressed into a small home business where I make beautiful and uniquely fragranced candles for the home. I am inspired by nature's goodness and wanted to combine its wholesome flavours and earthy scents to bring life into every home they find themselves in. I am a firm believer in organic, handmade, natural products and love that I can create such sweet smelling additions that everyone can enjoy!

General information

ARE ALL YOUR PRODUCTS NATURAL? Yes, all our handmade candles only use natural ingredients, our wicks are made from cotton and/or wood and our candle wax is 100% natural soy. ARE YOUR PRODUCTS TESTED ON ANIMALS? No, none of our products are tested on animals. As an animal lover myself, I am proud to say that all Lumiere Candles are free from parabens and contain no animal by-products and can be considered vegan friendly. DO YOU OFFER FREE SHIPPING? Yes, on Australian orders totalling over $100, we provide free shipping for your convenience. DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY? Yes, although we are based in Queensland, Australia, we do ship internationally for additional postage fees. Please email us directly for a quote at [email protected] and we can arrange your order via correspondence, rather than through the websites ordering system. HOW LONG WILL MY LUMIÈRE CANDLE LAST? Provided you keep your candle in a cool, dry, dark place (containing the fragrance with it's lid when not in use), candles can last up to 12 months. Burn time can vary depending on the size of the candle. Our popular 650g candles usually burn for roughly 30 hours. Our smaller 300g size can burn for up to 15 hours. HOW STRONG ARE THE LUMIÈRE FRAGRANCES? A 650g Lumière Candle is best suited for a bedroom, contained living space or bathroom areas. They are the perfect size to fill a standard sized room with beautiful aromas. For larger spaces or open plan living areas, consider burning two identical fragrances to fill more spacious areas. We will also be introducing a larger sized candle in the future, perfect for open homes (stay tuned). WHY IS THERE BLACK RESIDUE AROUND THE RIM OF MY CANDLE JAR? By trimming your candle wicks before each use and using a long stemmed match stick or lighter, you can usually avoid any black residue. However, if this has already occured, you can simply wipe with a piece of paper towel or cloth before lighting your candle. Please follow all Candle Safety Instructions (these can also be found on the base of your Lumière Candle). HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY LUMIÈRE CANDLE? We ask for your patience as we begin filling orders through the website. Please allow up to 5 business days for orders to be filled, before shipping to your nominated address. Shipping within Australia usually takes between 3-5 business days. PLEASE NOTE: we will always endeavour to send our products as quickly as possible. CAN I ORDER LUMIÈRE CANDLES AS WEDDING FAVOURS? We can do Lumière Candles as a small wedding favour sized gift. We quote this dependent on the number required and where they need to be shipped to. Please contact us here to lodge your enquiry. CAN I BECOME A WHOLESALER / STOCKIST? We welcome wholesaler enquiries and would love to partner with you.
