What a wonderful Fall it has been so far! We've just finished the power washing and are getting Lakeshore Lodge ready for a fresh coat of paint and stain. Vrbo #566786.

How's this for a review?!

Hands down the #1 VRBO/AirBnB we've ever rented
5/5 Stayed Jun 2020

The house was perfect. The location was magnificent. We want to move in permanently. Seriously. There aren't many places that are right off a lake and so close to a ski mountain and near a cute town. But let me tell you about the house. In the listing, it mentions that everything is provided and that is 100% accurate. I did not believe this to be the case, because whenever I rent a house I have to bring my own beach towels, beach chairs, water toys, coolers, drying racks, toilet paper, paper towel, garbage bags, coffee, soap, dish soap, laundry detergent, ice containers, BBQ utensils, oven mitts, dish towels, and tea kettle. (I'm a tea drinker). Well, so I packed these all in my car and guess what - the house was so stocked we couldn't believe it. There is even a huge walk-in closet full of kitchen supplies that I don't even own in my own house. We didn't end up using anything in there because there was no reason to. We woke up every morning to the most gorgeous view. We brought with blow up SUPs and a blow up kayak and our boys loved going out for multiple paddles. We went on a lovely walk every day. We found awesome hikes nearby and the owner provided tons of recommendations along with personal memories for them. There are a ton of grocery stores nearby and it was very comfortable making all our meals at home. We were nervous renting during a pandemic and they took extra precautions to make sure that all surfaces were cleaned. We felt very safe. Thank you for the most wonderful stay.

My new off-season rates are $350/night. Why not gather the family for a weekend at Lakeshore Lodge this fall?

Also keep in mind that Lakeshore Lodge is a great option for skiing at Schweitzer. Just 10 minutes to drive to the base of the mountain (and take the bus up from there) or 30 minutes all the way to the top.

After a day of play on Lake Pend O'Reille, how'd you like to relax on these luxurious leather sofas in the living room at Lakeshore Lodge?

Master bedroom on the second floor of Lakeshore Lodge. Fancy a cup of coffee on the balcony overlooking Lake Pend O'Reille? The master bathroom is massive with an utterly relaxing double-headed shower.

And just like that, Lakeshore Lodge has only ONE week available during 2019 summer school holidays 😲 (the last week of August 2019 is still free).

But LL is totally empty 😕 during October and November 2018. I'm going to lower my minimum stay to 2 nights and offer promotional rates of US$400/night. Autumn weekend in Sandpoint for the extended family? 😎😍😀
