We are proud to say we are one of two inns in Sagada that took in travelers - how they refused to be called tourists - way back in the 70's. As such, even the rooms have been named after the longest staying "guests" who have in more ways than one become part of our family. We keep in memory the many friends that have stayed in our home and stoked the hearth and our hearts even after they have left

In a moment that could have ended very differently, 23-year-old lifeguard **Kekoa Tamale** made a decision that has touched hearts across Hawaii.
