The lodge is nestled just 200 metres off the main R75 en-route to Addo, Kirkw

ood and Graaff-Reinet. The approximate distance from Port Elizabeth is 52 kilometres passing through the Garden Town of Uitenhage. Our beautiful lodge overlooks the valley and promises you of an exquisite, once in a lifetime scenery and sunsets with wild antelope feeding around the lodge. At arrival you are warmly welcomed into this place of special peace and tranquility. Around the lodge you will spot an abundance of wildlife, some 17 species of South African antelope, such as Kudu, Impala, Nyala, Bushbuck, Waterbuck, Duiker, Grysbuck, Springbuck, Warthog, Bush Pig, Mongoose, Fox, Porcupine, Jackal, Meerkat, Lynx and primates such as baboon and vervet monkey.

There is something truly special about the moment when the rain finally stops, the clouds begin to part, and the warm sunshine returns. The fresh scent of the bush fills the air, and nature seems to come alive once again.

As the sun shines down, the giraffes and other animals slowly emerge, enjoying the fresh greenery and cool surroundings left behind by the rain. Watching these magnificent creatures step out into the golden sunlight is a reminder of the beauty and peace that nature offers every day.

What an incredible blessing!

We’ve received over 100mm of rain in the past 2–3 days, and we are beyond grateful. 🙏💧

For the first time since November 2024, the river is flowing again — a truly beautiful sight after such a long dry period. Nature has a way of reminding us to appreciate every drop. 🌿🌊

The bush is already starting to come alive again, and we couldn’t be more thankful for this much-needed rain. ☔🦒
