Take a closer look at those crocodile eyes.

Their eyes sit high on their heads, allowing them to see above the water while keeping most of their body hidden below the surface. Crocodiles also have a special transparent third eyelid that helps protect their eyes while swimming.

And when the light fades, their eyes can reflect light, helping them see in low-light conditions.
