We have changed the wood-fired hot tub to a whirlpool bath with a heat pump. Our guests had difficulty in regulating the temperature with wood, and the water was stagnant. Now the big plus is that the temperature can be set to a comfortable level and there is a filter that keeps the water clean. The biggest plus is that now there are jets and bubbles to soothe those tense muscles. We have requested a name change to Meerendal Cottage - Private Pool and Hot Tub. Time to make a reservation before we are totally booked up!

We’ve upgraded from a wood-fired hot tub to a whirlpool bath with a heat pump — so now you can enjoy soothing jets and relaxing bubbles! Our guests have been loving the new experience so far.
