has DStv (full bouquet) as well as a fully equipped kitchenette. The en-suite bathroom has a bathtub and shower. An adjoined deck leads onto a spacious garden area. Towels and linen are provided. The Cozy Corner has a four poster double bed with seating area as well as a fully equipped kitchenette. The room has a flat screen TV with DSTV (full bouquet). The en-suite bathroom has a shower. An adjoined patio leads into a spacious and lush garden area. Towels and lined are provided. Penhill Estate a cluster of smallholdings borders the Stellenbosch vineyards, is 17 km from Somerset West, 20 km from Stellenbosch, 35 km from Cape Town and 7 km from Cape Town Film Studios. Our little wood-fired escape at Frieden-Hof 🔥🌿

I've slowly been creating this corner of the garden around our KOLKOL wood-fired hot tub — reclaimed wood, plants, handmade pieces, fairy lights and all the little things I've collected and made along the way.

By day it's tucked beneath the old trees and palms. By evening, once the fire is going and the lights come on, it becomes something quite different. ✨

The hot tub is completely private for guests staying in Artistic Cove, our self-catering garden accommodation near Stellenbosch and Somerset West.

Perfect for two, a fire, warm water and a quiet evening under the trees. ❤️
