Spring is beginning to reveal itself throughout the gardens at Camps Bay Retreat. One of the season's most anticipated arrivals, the Clivia, is starting to open in vibrant shades of orange and gold beneath the forest canopy. Native to Southern Africa and known for thriving in shaded woodland environments, these striking blooms create a colourful display along our Clivia Walk. Take a stroll through the forest, follow the winding pathways, and experience this seasonal spectacle as it comes to life.

As evening settles in and the walkway lights begin to glow, it becomes one of the most memorable places to pause. With Camps Bay known for its spectacular sunsets, the Skywalk offers a front-row seat to the changing evening sky.

A walk through nature, history and hidden corners. Every Wednesday at 14:00, guests are invited to explore Camps Bay Retreat’s four-acre estate with our horticulturist, Brendan. From forest pathways and waterfalls to the Mountain Nature Pool fed by Table Mountain, each walk offers a deeper connection to the landscape. The afternoon ends with tea and freshly baked scones at Bella’s, overlooking the gardens and ocean.
