Sadawa Game Reserve was established in 1992 and is located just outside Ceres. We offer a unique Karoo-experience with the vast landscapes, breath-taking sunsets and indigenous fauna and flora of this truly majestic South African Biome. The Sadawa-Karoo area is rich in history with various Bushmen settlement remains still visible and the “Vergete Groot Pad" that travelled through the middle of the

farm many years ago. By day it is a vast landscape filled with indigenous flora and boundless blue skies. At night the skies become a stargazer’s dream with vast expanses of glittering stars you will never see in the city.

​There are various indigenous plants growing on the farm, many of which have medicinal properties. Wild game that one can expect to see include Springbuck, Ostriches, Oryx, Eland and many more.

​Enjoy a restful getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. Switch off and break away to enjoy nature and all it has to offer!

Update on Katryn - she'll be one month old tomorrow, she loves Whiskey to bits and follows him around everywhere (she even gets into his bed sometimes). She has gained good weight and is fit and healthy. She spends her days nibbling lusern pills, vygies and anything that tastes nice in the garden. She still runs for her bottle of milk and gives us lots of love after. We started walking outside the garden fence with her and she loves it! She is so beautiful! 🌼

Katryn, a baby springbuck, was found alone in the veld, just born, her mom gone, and bitterly cold (in the midst of this week's icy cold and rainy weather). So we took her in, and she is thriving. Whiskey is her guard dog, care dog and substitute mom.

Chalet 5 – Fit for a family! With its make-over chalet 5 now boasts two private rooms each with ensuites and there is also a daybed in the living room that can be converted into a king size bed.
