Heron Cottage Book your coastal holiday at this charming sea view cottage located in the friendly village of Chintsa East. Cleaning is available at a daily rate on request .

Bedrooms:
Heron Cottage comprises of two en-suite bedrooms, both with sliding doors leading onto the patio with amazing sea views. Bedroom 1: Queen size bed
Bedroom 2: Two single beds which can be converted to a King size bed on request. The cottage can accomodate 5 guests as there is a daybed in the living area. Living space:
The lounge, dining/kitchen is a light modern open space area with high beamed ceilings leading onto the sea view patio with sliding wooden doors. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove and oven, microwave, double door fridge/freezer with ice maker, Nespresso coffee machine and a dishwasher. There is a comfortably sized 6 seater dining table, a daybed and two wicker occasional chairs. Dine alfresco on the patio while enjoying the sea view. Heron cottage is completely off-grid with solar panels, water tanks and a gas cooker. Amenities:
Heron Cottage offers android tv with Netflix and Showmax YouTube and wi-fi. All information and house rules will be provided by the host before arrival. This stand alone cottage has its own entrance and undercover parking.

A walk to the beach in Chintsa East comes with a few lovely distractions. 🌿🐚 Colourful beadwork catching the sunlight, woven baskets, beautiful fabrics and little wooden treasures invite you to stop and look a little closer.

There is something lovely about having the time to browse, admire someone’s handiwork and choose a small reminder of your days beside the sea. With the beach waiting just beyond the trees, getting there becomes part of the pleasure. ☀️🌊

There is a quiet kind of wonder in watching Chintsa wake beneath the sunrise, then seeing the day gently return to the sea as the sun sets. The changing light, the sound of the waves, and the wide-open sky invite you to slow down and simply be present.

A little look back at a lovely couple who visited Heron Cottage a while ago and made time for the good things in Chintsa. 🌊💙 From exploring the rocks beside the ocean to horse riding with coastal views, fish and chips overlooking the sea, and a braai back at the cottage, their photos tell a beautiful story of time enjoyed together.

Some of the loveliest holidays are the ones we get to share with the whole family, including the four-legged members. 🐾 At Heron Cottage, your dog can enjoy the fresh sea air, sunshine on the lawn and time together in our little corner of Chintsa East. 🌿🌊

We were delighted to welcome these two special visitors from Guide Dogs South Africa. Seeing them enjoy the garden was a lovely reminder of the companionship and happiness dogs bring to our lives. 💙
