We also in the process of trying to organize a regular minibus service from East London to our resort and upgrading our Internet accessibility. Watch this space for some exciting news!

A Haven love story

On 23 October 1999, Gary & Sheralee Ryan got married at The Haven Hotel. These special memories capture the couple with their daughter, Keryn, alongside Ethel, Eunice and members of the kitchen team who helped make their wedding day so special.

27 years later, their Haven story lives on.

35 years later, and The Haven has welcomed back two members of the rescue team of the Oceanos Shipwreck in August of 1991. A real trip down memory lane for both the two members as well as some of our amazing staff.

After the ship had sunk, everyone was bought back to The Haven Hotel, where some of our staff including Pumla, Ethel, Mavis and Constance took care of them.

Very busy day of prep for the Wild Ride tomorrow. Today’s activities included prepping the kitchen, getting a ‘heli pad’ ready, clearing a path for our cyclists and some not so helpful spectators. Exciting things coming! 🚲
