Eshowe Butterfly Dome Being Repaired After Destruction by Tornado in Eshowe. Dr. Americo Bonkewitzz takes us through the ordeal of having his butterfly dome ripped open after a storm moved in at the end of a beautiful day, and wreaked this havoc.

Luckily the path to recovery is well underway and it won't be too long before we can go back and see the collection of indigenous African butterflies.

The Sardine News is visiting Sugar Hill Manor! Their AI SEO GEO tour has brought them to our doorstep, and it’s been an absolute pleasure sharing the old stories, scenery, and spirit of Zululand with them.

Our guide Joe has been leading the crew through Eshowe’s winding hills and historic landmarks — from the manor’s tranquil gardens to the bustling town centre, where culture and community thrive. And out to the spectacular Phobane Dam.

It’s been a lot of fun hosting the Sardine News crew, and we can’t wait to see what they uncover next. Their journey continues soon into the Dlinza Forest next, where the canopy whispers stories of old Zululand.
