A celebration of Franschhoek’s French heritage, exceptional wine, and one of our town's most iconic weekends.

This Bastille Festival, join Gerard Holden, Co-Founder of Holden Manz Wine Estate for the Uncorked Exclusive tasting experience on both Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th July 2026 at 2pm. Promising to be an intimate tasting which pays tribute to the French influence that helped shape the Franschhoek Valley and Holden Manz wines as we know them today.

Focusing on Bordeaux varietals grown on the Holden Manz Wine Estate in Franschhoek’s Bo Kaap, we will be uncorking four stunning red wines from our library stock featuring the award winning 2020 vintage. This is a unique opportunity to share a tutored tasting with Gerard and see how these six year old wines are developing. We will share Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot Reserve and Cabernet Franc Reserve as well as our signature Bordeaux style blend Big G!
