Shikwaru Lodge Enjoy true bushveld hospitality in style and comfort at Shikwaru. With accommodation, wedding venues, Shikwaru is the Shona name for Pangolin.

Shikwaru Lodge offers an outdoor experience beyond comparison. A mere two hours drive from Gauteng, the lodge is situated 28km south of Mokopane in the Limpopo province of South Africa and acts as the perfect destination for tourists, conferences, weddings, wild life enthusiasts, bird watchers and anglers. The farm was named Shikwaru after a Pangolin was seen on the farm. A visit to Shikwaru promises a lasting memory of tranquility, spectacular scenery and a wealth of historical and cultural treasures nearby. The 1200 hectares farm is a malaria-free environment and the land lies in the summer rainfall zone with wet summers and cool dry winters. At Shikwaru we support and have faith in the initiative to bring the good news of hope to South Africa's children and to replace despair with hope and tears with laughter. Therefore we support the Reaching a Generation (RaG) organization. www.reachingageneration.org
