Located in over 40 000 hectares of Big 5 and part of the Greater Kruger National Park, our open based vehicle safaris are conducted by highly experienced and professional guides, sharing their knowledge and bush skills with you twice a day in search of the Big 5 and the abundance of other wild animals which roam free around Sausage Tree Safari Camp. You will experience mesmerising views from our expansive decking of uninterrupted bush all the way to the magnificent Drakensberg mountains.

From “Yes” to Forever ❤️

In 2013, Shaun and Natalie first visited Sausage Tree, where Shaun proposed to Natalie on the beautiful Panorama Route.

A year later, in 2014, we had the absolute joy of hosting their beautiful wedding, surrounded by their family and friends on our Sky Deck.

And now, twelve years later, they have returned to the very same spot to renew their vows — this time with their delightful 8-year-old daughter Isabelle, who looked every bit the princess.

Some love stories come full circle… and we feel incredibly privileged to have been part of theirs. ❤️

Here’s to Shaun & Natalie, twelve wonderful years of marriage, and many more to come!
They are truly part of the Sausage Tree family.

Our neighbour is one hell of a videographer, capturing all things big and small happening here on OWNR.

From closely following the ever changing pride politics of our local lion population to the intricate method of how a lilac breasted roller removes the sting of a scorpion before devouring it…he beautifully captures rare moments of the bush and we highly recommend you follow his journey…
