Not all beauty in the bush comes with four legs. 🌸

Meet the Wild Foxglove (Ceratotheca triloba), a beautiful wildflower indigenous to southern Africa.

With its delicate, tubular flowers in shades of pink, mauve and sometimes white, this little plant adds a lovely touch of colour to the bushveld.

Sometimes, the most beautiful discoveries are the ones growing right beneath our feet.

Just like our fingerprints, no two giraffes have exactly the same coat pattern.

Each giraffe has a unique arrangement of patches, allowing researchers to identify and track individuals in the wild. These markings also help them blend into the patterns of light and shadow in the bush.

What does the world look like through an elephant’s eyes? 🐘👁️

Elephants don’t rely on sharp eyesight as much as we do. Their vision is relatively limited, particularly over longer distances, which is why their exceptional sense of smell and hearing are so important.

Their eyes are better suited to detecting movement nearby, while their trunks, ears and even their feet help them gather information about what’s happening around them.

A powerful reminder that elephants experience the bush in ways very different from our own.
