This World Crocodile Day, we're taking a trip down memory lane to one of the most extraordinary wildlife sightings ever witnessed at Khaya Ndlovu Safari Manor.

During a game drive, photographer Francesca Placereani found herself in the right place at exactly the right time. As a rare pangolin made its way to the water's edge for a drink, Francesca prepared her camera, knowing just how special the sighting was.

What happened next was a powerful reminder of the unpredictability of nature. In a matter of seconds, a crocodile emerged from the water, turning an extraordinary pangolin sighting into a truly unforgettable wildlife moment.
