We are open to overnight guests as well as day visitors. Situated in Little Brak River, on the Garden Route close to Mossel Bay. Botlierskop is home to free roaming wildlife including lions, cheetah, white rhino, buffalo and elephants. We also have giraffes, hippos, the endangered Cape Mountain Zebra and Bontebok as well as the rare black impala and golden wildebeest. We are also home to a variety
of antelope including water-buck, eland, springboks and more! The reserve offers a variety of accommodation options; we have our Luxury Tented Lodge with Tented Suites overlooking the mountains and river below where wildlife come to drink. The Fireplace Restaurant is conveniently at the Tented Lodge with open spacious decks with pool overlooking the river and a big fire in the evenings with African drumming. Our child-friendly Village Lodge, on the Northern side of the reserve was built with families in mind with lots of space and play areas for the little ones. There are plenty of activities to keep the children entertained. Our self-catering Bush Villas are tucked away in a Northern corner of the reserve and is where luxury, privacy and wildlife meet. Fully equipped self-catering villas overlooking an active waterhole that wildlife frequently visit. Our Day Visitor Facilities were designed for day visitors with limited time to also be able to experience Botlierskop. With Spekbos Restaurant, spacious deck overlooking the grassy plains where wildlife freely roams, curio shop, leisure area with children’s playground, pool, luxury picnic spots and a variety of activities on offer. Activities for overnight guests as well as day visitors includes: 3-hour guided game drives, horseback safaris, veterinary safaris and guided bush trails.
