We are looking for a dynamic Receptionist / Night Auditor to join our team.

Job Overview:

Receptionists are responsible for checking guests in and out, answering any enquiries, both face-to-face and via telephone, and liaising with all other teams in the hotel. Reception is the hub of any hotel, and the candidate needs to be a team player and be willing to understand and be part of all hotel departments.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Be the front line of welcoming all guests into the hotel
- Excellent spoken and written English is required
- Ability to deal with both local and international guests
- Must be able to learn local information such as activities etc, in order to assist guests with any planning during their stay in the hotel
- You will be required to work shifts, including evenings and on occasion an overnight night audit shift.
- Must be computer literate – knowledge of a property management system is preferable (Nebula / Apex / Opera etc)
- Will be responsible for taking payments, cash ups and maintaining the reception cash float
- Attention to detail, practical organisational skills and the ability to calmly multitask
- The candidate must have experience in a hotel / guesthouse reception environment
- South African ID required
