Leia Travels took a journey up Sani Pass, wrapped up in a Basotho blanket, enjoyed a drink at 2,874 metres, and reminded us that Lesotho is always worth slowing down for.

After waking up to fresh snow this morning, Sani Mountain Escape now settles into a cold winter evening beneath clear skies and snow-covered mountains.

The excitement of the day's snowfall may be over, but the beauty remains. As the sun sets on a white landscape, we're preparing for what promises to be a very cold night at the top of the legendary Sani Pass.

Sani Mountain Escape woke up this morning to fresh snow, and by afternoon the skies had cleared to reveal a stunning winter landscape.

A reminder that mountain weather can change quickly - and create some truly unforgettable views along the way.
