By efficiently disposing of the remains of deceased animals, they help prevent diseases from spreading - a vital role in the ecosystem.

Here in Africa, we’re privileged that our garbage disposal crew consists of such fantastic, magnificent birds.

Lodge 91, Mjejane Game Reserve

Located in Mjejane Private Game reserve, within the great Kruger National Park, Lodge 91 is the perfect holiday home for a family.

The 4,000 hectare reserve is fenced within the Kruger National Park fence and borders the southern boundary of the Park. Mjejane comprises unspoiled indigenous bush with over 10km of river frontage and the area is renowned for its superb game viewing.

Activities include bush walks and a Games Room is available at the club house. Golf courses close by includes Leopard Creek.

Guests can book a private game drive with a guide in the lodge's private game viewing vehicle, and enjoy a traditional braai in the Lapa area. Guests have access to an outdoor pool overlooking the African savanna at the Clubhouse, within 500m of the home.
