🌸🌿 Sometimes the smallest things bring the greatest joy...

There is something so special about watching nature quietly unfold around us. A new flower opening, a splash of colour among the greenery, the beauty of each little bloom in its own season. 🌷

As we walk through the gardens at Hawklee, we are reminded that beauty doesn't always need to be grand to be breathtaking. Sometimes it's found in the tiniest details, the ones we so easily walk past without noticing.

Every flower seems to have its own little story to tell, adding colour, life and a touch of wonder to this beautiful place we call home.

A little glimpse of Hawklee in bloom... 🌸🌼🌿

What an exciting week this have been 😍

A huge thank you to Mark & Shelley who chose Hawklee Country House as the place to pop the question! 💍

It was an absolute privilege to be part of such a special moment, and we're so thrilled you thought of us to share in your engagement celebration!

We set up a picnic next to river with a private spa treatment to follow with Corne Mouton as a backdrop for Mark to do the rest😁😁...

Moments like these remind us why we love what we do - creating a home away from home where memories are made. 🥰 Thanks again for choosing us, and we can't wait to see what the future holds for you both!

✨The Buff-spotted Flufftail has just dropped by Hawklee, and we're buzzing with excitement! ✨

This elusive bird is a rare sight, and we're calling on all bird lovers to come and try their luck at spotting it. 😲

Did you know? The male Buff-spotted Flufftail's call sounds like a foghorn at night - it's a haunting, low-pitched "whooo-oo-oo" that'll send shivers down your spine! 🌃

This bird is a true forest gem, with its plumage a stunning mix of buff and brown, and a fluffy tail that's hard to miss. It's a secretive bird, but if you're lucky, you might catch a glimpse of it foraging for insects and seeds on the forest floor.

We're offering a special challenge: if you're lucky enough to capture the Buff-spotted Flufftail on camera, show us the proof and get a 50% discount on an extra night's stay at Hawklee! 🤩

Come and experience the magic of birding at Hawklee, and see if you can spot this elusive beauty.

Book your stay directly with Tanya @082 491 1386 and get ready for an unforgettable birding adventure! 🌳🐦

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our "Kleurvol" ladies' retreat at Hawklee Country House this weekend!

It's amazing how a guesthouse can transform into a sacred space where women come together, share their stories, and forge unbreakable bonds. We're so grateful to have been a part of this special time of connection, growth, and spiritual rejuvenation. May the memories and friendships formed here continue to inspire and uplift you all
