We’ve been working on the food for our first Night Under the Stars, and here’s a little taste of what you can expect… 🥂

Throughout the evening, canapés will be served in waves around our Manor courtyard, allowing you to mingle, enjoy the live music and simply relax under the fairy lights.

Guests can expect a generous selection of approximately 10–12 canapé pieces per person, served throughout the evening, with a combination of lighter bites, warm savouries and something sweet to finish.

Your evening starts with a welcome glass of sparkling wine, followed by good food, great company and live music by Lize Mynhardt. 🎶

For our first Night Under the Stars at De Leeuwenhof Estate, we are delighted to welcome Lize Mynhardt for a live performance in our historic Manor courtyard.

Picture the fountain, fairy lights, a glass of sparkling wine, canapés making their way around the courtyard and live acoustic music carrying through the evening.

There is something special about an evening spent outside in the Cape Winelands — warm lights, good food, a glass of bubbles and nowhere to rush off to.

For Night Under the Stars, our historic Manor courtyard at De Leeuwenhof Estate will be transformed into a relaxed cocktail-style setting with:

🍳 BREAKFAST CHEF

We are looking for an experienced breakfast chef with excellent plating skills and the ability to multitask in a busy kitchen.

Requirements:
• Good knowledge of different breakfast cooking techniques, including eggs, omelettes, pancakes, French toast and other breakfast dishes.
• Excellent plating and presentation skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple orders.
• Able to start prepping for lunch and prepare lunch orders when required.
• Presentable and professional.
• Available 5 days a week.
• Own reliable transport.
• Must be able to assist with service when needed.

We are looking for a kitchen assistant to support our chef during evening service. This could be an ideal opportunity for a student or someone looking to gain experience in a professional kitchen.

• Assist with plating, salads, starters and general kitchen preparation.
• Able to cook and bake.
• Willing to learn and assist wherever needed.
• Presentable and professional.
• Must be able to jump into service when required.
• Available 5 days a week.
• Own reliable transport.
