This World Ocean Day, we’re celebrating the heartbeat of Paternoster. 🌊
 
The ocean shapes the landscape, supports the local fishing community, welcomes migrating whales to our shores, and inspires the slower pace of life that draws so many people to this special corner of the West Coast.
 
It’s also where our story begins. La Baleine - meaning “the whale” - was named in honour of the ocean and the incredible marine life that visits these waters each year.

The ocean doesn’t just surround Paternoster. It shapes its people, its stories, its livelihood and its soul.
