“Luxury with personality. This small hotel is bursting with personality. The charm of the rooms and common areas makes you feel as if you are staying in someone’s home, but with wonderful staff! It is both relaxing and comfortable and yet every need is met by someone with a smile!”

Fun fact: Interior designers Merylle Legh and Helen Wood used the nearly 250-year-old hotel’s location and history as inspiration while giving the space a modern twist.

“It’s honestly just one of those places where you immediately feel relaxed. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again when we’re back in Plettenberg Bay!”

“Wandi is the most incredible massage therapist! I had a deep tissue massage with her and left feeling more relaxed than I have in years!”

We’re No. 15 in South Africa!

It’s World Dolphin Day and the perfect opportunity to share this breathtaking moment, beautifully captured by Sharyn Hodges 🐬

Dolphins are highly intelligent, social creatures. They live in pods of sometimes thousands and often help each other when they are hunting.

Plett’s marine wildlife is one of its most compelling attractions and is officially declared an international Hope Spot by Mission Blue. This designation marks it as an area critical to the overall health of the global ocean.

We’re keeping the Heritage Day celebrations going into the weekend, gathering under the milkwoods next Saturday for an afternoon of good food, good company and good old fashioned braaivleis.

Imagine a braai at a friend’s house – if that friend was a chef! Sirloin steak, lamb chops, line fish and peri-peri prawns will be coming off the fire all afternoon, alongside all the sides you’d hope to find at a proper South African feast.
