This is magic !!! Always lovely seeing these amazing Martial Eagles around the open plains surrounding the Makakatana Bay lodge. The Martial Eagle is the largest eagle in Africa, that has a very impressive wingspan of up to 2.6 meters. It is an endangered, powerful predator inhabiting sub-Saharan open woodlands and savannas, known for hunting mammals that most other raptors wouldn’t dare to touch.
