The latest forecast is looking good for Friday & Saturday (sunny weather and no rain expected). Sunday is shaky with the south easter kicking in. We do have Plan Bs in place where possible should conditions change so the programme is subject to change. Please check the website for latest updates.

*Friday 15 May, 6- 9pm: Vino & Vibes with Proof of Life*
Proof of Life: A newly formed trio explores a structured yet fluid approach to music, using improvisation to tap into shared sonic memory and ensuring each performance is unique and unrepeatable. Their name underscores a commitment to thinking and creating in the moment, positioning improvisation as a response to rigid, mechanised, and homogenising cultural forces. The trio is made up of: Asher Gamedze - Drums; Sean Sanby - Bass &  Reza Khota -  Guitar. 

*Sunday 17 May 11:30am - 1pm: Bubbles & Band with Tete Mbambisa Sextet*  
Tete Mbambisa, born in Duncan Village in 1942, learned piano informally in his mother’s shebeen, developing a strong ear for chords early on. Influenced by artists like Frank Sinatra and Louis Jordan, he began performing as a teenager with the Four Yanks. By the late 1960s, he was working with Winston Mankunku and Duku Makasi on Inhlupeko. His later work, including the Tete Mbambisa Sextet, is known for its distinctive “Big Band Mbaqanga Jazz” style.
