The impala antelope native to the savannas and woodlands of eastern and southern Africa. Also our emblem at East Cape Safaris since established in 2000 on the farm Kaalplaas. Some of the impala we hunted during the present season at ECS pictured below.
Impala also known for their incredible agility, impalas can leap up to 3 meters high and 9 meters forward when startled. Only males grow long, lyre-shaped horns.
