Some of us are born to bike 🙌 … And (real beginners aside😜) our mountain playground now has new trails to suit every kind of rider!

So, what’s new? The Yellow gravel bike loop, essentially a small single jeep track; the Yellow MTB trail, a short non to technical, with little elevation gain, aimed at unfit or beginner riders looking to experience single track riding coupled with some user-friendly obstacles; the Green MTB, same as yellow but with more elevation and distance for beginner to intermediate riders; the in-production Blue MTB, adding even more elevation, distance and obstacles for intermediate riders (linking the Red and Black) and the almost complete Red and Black MTB routes - these require fitness, strength and ability.

The camp trail and duck and dive - novelty loops which have option to repeated as many times are riders wish - form part of the trail parks base route network.

Bring your bike or let us know if you want to strange a hire, and come experience them all! (Note, trails are for in-house guests only)

The view from the veranda of our conference venue: a 100-year-old barn, it can accommodate between 10 and 60 delegates, and is adjacent to Manor House, and strolling distance to Poplar Spa.

We can host 20 single occupancy guests (or up to 45 sharing) and our hospitality team is dedicated to ensuring your conference is as rewarding as a holiday, with a tailormade programme to inspire and bond … from archery and water cart jousting, cycling and kayak relays to Boulle and bingo, movie nights to frisbee golf and much, much more… All at a surprisingly reasonable price!

This is Milkwood, one of our two-bedroom country cottages, opening onto a walled garden with built-in braai, with ample seating on the shaded veranda to enjoy the farm paddock views. A well-equipped kitchenette, serviced daily, or pop into the Manor House for meals. Sleeping up to five, at R4750/night.
