HELPING HOUSE OF HOPE BUILD A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE

Over the past several years, Kudu Valley Safari Lodge and Africa Hunt Lodge, along with many of our wonderful safari guests, friends and supporters, have been proud to support the House of Hope Trust near Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.

Many of our guests have personally visited House of Hope during their African safaris, met the children, brought supplies and contributed to projects that are making a lasting difference.

And we're excited to share that the help is working.
Previous donations have helped provide educational expenses, medical care, computers, 24-hour internet access, tables and chairs, and the development of a chicken project that is now generating income to help support the children's everyday needs.

Our GoFundMe campaign has now raised more than $6,000, and House of Hope is continuing to work toward becoming increasingly self-sufficient.

Right now, they need our help with one important final push.

House of Hope founder Enock Ali has personally worked and saved $6,000 toward a $10,000 transportation van. The vehicle will not only provide much-needed transportation for the children, but will also be used for airport transfers and local transportation services to generate ongoing income for House of Hope.

The van has been purchased, and they now need approximately $4,000 to cover the remaining import duty and get the vehicle into Zimbabwe.

This is exactly the kind of project we love supporting—not simply providing temporary assistance, but helping House of Hope develop ways to support itself for years to come.

📸 Through the Eyes of a Young Photographer at Kudu Valley

Every once in a while, our guests capture photographs that make us stop and appreciate Kudu Valley through an entirely different set of eyes.

Last week, we hosted a wonderful family at Kudu Valley Safari Lodge, and while Dad spent much of his time in the field hunting, the rest of the family set out exploring with our Hospitality Director, Ka-Ria.

One of those guests was his daughter—a young woman who has just graduated from high school and, judging by these photographs, has an incredible eye and talent for wildlife photography!

Throughout their week with us, the family experienced a little bit of everything: visits to nearby National Parks, the Predator Park, game drives, wildlife viewing from our treehouse and pit blinds, and plenty of time exploring and photographing the incredible wildlife and scenery of the Waterberg.

And she certainly made the most of those opportunities. These photographs are absolutely beautiful.

This is also what makes a stay at Kudu Valley so special for families. Not everyone has to be a hunter to have an unforgettable African safari. While one family member may spend the day hunting, our non-hunting guests can have an entirely different adventure of their own.

Thank you so much for allowing us to share your photography and artwork. We absolutely love seeing Kudu Valley and the Limpopo Province captured through the eyes of our guests, and we think this talented young photographer has a very bright future behind the camera!

What an unforgettable week at Kudu Valley Safari Lodge!

We recently had the pleasure of hosting an incredible family from Texas for a 7-day South African safari, and what an adventure it was!

From harvesting some outstanding trophy animals to experiencing the breathtaking beauty of our local national parks, every day was filled with new memories. Their journey also included an unforgettable visit to the Elephant Sanctuary, where they had the opportunity to get up close with these magnificent giants and learn more about the importance of wildlife conservation.

One of the most rewarding moments of the week was donating fresh game meat to a local orphanage, helping provide nutritious meals while sharing the blessings of Africa with the surrounding community. It's always a privilege to see our guests leave a positive impact that extends far beyond the hunt.

Now their adventure continues as they head to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, for three more days of exploring one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World!

What a week it has already been at Kudu Valley Safari Lodge! 🇿🇦

We are thrilled to welcome back Dennis and Linnea for their fifth safari with us. This year, they once again brought friends and family along to experience the adventure, hospitality, and unforgettable moments of the African bush.

The hunting has been exceptional. In just the past 24 hours, the group successfully harvested two impressive Cape Buffalo bulls. Owen also took a magnificent Nyala bull, while Dennis harvested a beautiful Dapple Impala, completing his coveted Impala Slam!

There is something truly special about watching longtime clients return year after year, and even more meaningful when they introduce their friends and family to the experience. Dennis and Linnea have become much more than clients...they are part of the Kudu Valley family.

Congratulations to everyone on an incredible start to the safari. We still have plenty of hunting ahead, but the memories already made will last a lifetime!

Creating memories that span generations... 🇿🇦

One of the greatest blessings of owning Kudu Valley Safari Lodge isn't just the incredible hunting; it's the lifelong friendships that continue to grow year after year.

We were honored to welcome Mr. Brown back for his second consecutive safari with us. Returning clients are the greatest compliment we can receive, and it was a pleasure once again sharing the African bush with him.

This trip was made even more special as Bailey Bulkley had the opportunity to spend the past couple of weeks hunting alongside Mr. Brown. Watching the next generation learn about wildlife conservation, ethical hunting, and the traditions of the African bush from experienced hunters is something truly special.

Meanwhile, Viola Bulkley joined her father, Aaron, and Oom Ewald, in the bushveld waters and successfully harvested a beautiful Nile Crocodile...an unforgettable accomplishment and a memory she'll cherish for the rest of her life.

These are the moments that define Kudu Valley Safari Lodge. It's more than world class hunting...it is families coming together, friendships being strengthened, and traditions being passed from one generation to the next.

The results speak for themselves...

Since the acquisition of Kudu Valley Safari Lodge by its new partners in 2023, one of our primary goals has been to develop one of the finest Greater Kudu herds in the region.

Over the past three years, Aaron Bulkley has invested countless hours researching bloodlines, acquiring premier genetics, selectively culling inferior bulls, and carefully managing the kudu cow population and annual calf recruitment. Every management decision has been made with one objective in mind: improving the long-term health, age structure, and trophy quality of the herd.

Wildlife management is a long-term commitment, and there are no shortcuts. Healthy populations, strong genetics, and responsible harvest strategies all work together to produce exceptional animals while ensuring the sustainability of the species for future generations.

The proof is in the results.

These outstanding Greater Kudu bulls have been photographed or harvested on our property since the inception of the program. We couldn't be more excited about what the future holds, and we remain committed to investing in conservation and responsible game management for years to come.

What an incredible family adventure we had the privilege of hosting at Kudu Valley Safari Lodge last week!

Our group enjoyed an unforgettable safari filled with hunting, game drives, live music at the lodge, a visit to the elephant sanctuary, time spent supporting a local orphanage, and plenty of memories made along the way.

With over 80 animals harvested, this group also helped provide a tremendous amount of meat to support and feed families throughout our local community.
