We "survived" the cyclone four weeks ago, including more than two weeks without electricity, clearing fallen trees, and tackling all the chaos that came with it.
However last night again the power went off, and the heavy rainfall started.
Thankfully, our property is well prepared for the rain. A network of small drainage ditches channels the water into the ponds, and all three ponds, plus the swimming pool, are now overflowing.
With another 24 hours of rain forecast, we are starting to think a rafting or canoeing business might be a profitable side hustle. 🫣😂🌧️🛶
