You could tell the story of Umngazi through its beaches, its river, its rolling green hills and the many things there are to do here.
But that would only tell part of it, because it is, and always has been, about people.
The faces that welcome you back. The team member your children ask about before you've even arrived. The laughter from the bar, the conversations over dinner and the familiar hellos that make a hotel somewhere along the Wild Coast begin to feel strangely like home.
Perhaps that's why so many of our guests return year after year, and why some who first arrived as children eventually return with children of their own.
There are beautiful places all over the world. What is harder to find is a place that makes you feel something, and that's the part of Umngazi we've never quite been able to put into words.
