This year, Drakenstein Municipality will once again play host to the annual Rhodes Quality Half Marathon, taking place on 1 May, Workersโ€™ Day, in Wellington. Further cementing Drakensteinโ€™s status as a premier sport destination, this well-loved race will kick off in the vicinity of the Hugenote High School in Blouvlei Road.

The popular event features the following races:

* 21.1km Run โ€“ Entry fee: Licenced R230 โ€“ Unlicenced R315 (excluding online administration fee)
* 21.1km Walk โ€“ Entry fee: Licenced R230 โ€“ Unlicenced R315 (excluding online administration fee)
* 10km Run/Walk โ€“ Entry fee: Licenced R160 โ€“ Unlicenced R220 (excluding online administration fee)
* 5km Fun Run/Walk โ€“ Entry fee: R70 (excluding online administration fee)
* 20.5km Trail Run โ€“ Entry fee: 20.5km: R410
* 14.5km Trail Run โ€“ Entry fee: 14.5km: R300

Trail run entries are limited to 300.
