Ndhula is the short, modified form of Indlulamithi (pronounced een-gloo-lah-mee-tee) : the local Zulu word for giraffe. When our founder first visited this property, envisioning what would one day become our lodge, a herd of giraffes crossed their path. Taking it as a sign from nature itself, the lodge was named in their honour.
