The Kuru Art @ !Khwa ttu Exhibition is still open – and all the artwork has been sold!

We are delighted to share that every piece in the exhibition has found a new home.

There is still time to visit and experience the extraordinary work of the Naro San artists from the Kuru Art Project. The exhibition remains a powerful celebration of culture, storytelling, and creativity, offering visitors a unique opportunity to engage with the artists' vision and heritage.

Come and enjoy this remarkable collection and learn more about the stories and traditions that inspired these beautiful works.

The exhibition runs until 16 June at the !Khwa ttu Heritage Centre.

The Love Bow and Arrow - a story from Old Time 🏹❤️

In the time of our ancestors, when a young man fell in love, he would turn to a special tool - the Love Bow and Arrow. Hidden behind a bush, he would wait for the young woman to walk past before carefully aiming and shooting his arrow.

If she picked up the arrow and held it close to her chest, it meant she accepted his love. But if she returned the arrow, his search for love would continue.

Stories like these remind us of the rich traditions, and fun-loving creativity, of the San.
