Situated on a private 4km stretch of beach on Lake Kariba’s shoreline, you would not even know the camp is there at first as it has been built to blend in

to the bush. The design of the camp is so that guests can experience nature as closely as possible, and as luxuriously as possible. Each tent is beautifully furnished with king-sized beds, outside and inside baths and showers, private decks and hammocks to give you every creature comfort you might need. New at Changa: the Matusadona Conservation Experience, run in partnership with the Matusadona Conservation Trust. Spend time with the team, hear first-hand about the challenges and successes of wildlife restoration, and enjoy access normally hidden from view.

It's a rare chance to understand not only what makes Matusadona so special, but what it takes every day to protect it. By taking part, you're also helping support the conservation efforts bringing new life back to the park - including rhino and wild dog relocations.
