ts alongside the Zambezi River and is also situated in the Zambezi National Park – home to a wide variety of wildlife. It is not uncommon to come across a troop of baboons in the centre of town, or for traffic to stop and give way to a family of warthogs or an elephant crossing the road! Distinctively unique in its design, Pamarah is made up of a number of freestanding buildings, woven together by thoughtfully laid pathways and beautiful landscaping. Our unique style reflects clean straight lines coupled with gentle organic curves, while reflecting the influence that aviation has had on our lives. This suburban lodge features 14 luxury en-suite rooms, each with their own private entrance. An open-plan indoor-outdoor gazebo is the perfect spot to have breakfast while enjoying the garden and pool views. The interior design is a fresh interpretation of decades gone by, combined with contemporary classics. Spaces are filled with various hand-picked aviation and photographic collectables and historic images – echoing the family’s love for history, aviation and photography. Guests are truly spoilt for choice when visiting Victoria Falls – and we are happy to manage all your bookings on your behalf. We look forward to welcoming you!

On display in a corner of Pamarah’s reception area is a collection of vintage cameras, film projectors, and memorabilia belonging to Mike McGeorge, father of Pamarah co-owner Mornette, who served as a prominent professional photographer in Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe, from the early 1960’s onwards, alongside his identical twin brother, John.

Among these treasured artifacts are the original Kodak Brownie cameras the twin brothers carried during their service with the British Army in Palestine (1947–1948), capturing historic, firsthand moments leading up to the declaration of Israeli independence. Their original photo albums and vintage equipment offer a rare glimpse into a lifetime behind the lens.

While Mike passed away in 2017 before Pamarah came to life, his artistic spirit, along with that of his twin brother John, remains at the heart of our lodge. The black-and-white aviation photographs adorn our walls as a tribute to their legacy, their craft, and the rich history that inspires our family today.
