Silky Oaks Lodge has been named among Tatler’s Best 100 Hotels Asia Pacific 2026, its first year on the list. Tatler describes the lodge as “treehouse elegance suspended directly over ancient Daintree rainforest canopy.”

Its 40 treehouses look out over the Mossman River and the World Heritage-listed Daintree, the oldest living rainforest in the world. The Treehouse Restaurant sits over the river and draws on the lodge’s Kitchen Garden, where pandan and finger lime are grown.
