❤️LITTLE RED MEMORIES❤️

Photos of Little Red popped up on my google memories. If you ever stayed here between 2021 & 2024, chances are you met her.
Old Buddy was also a big fan of welcoming guests and their doggy family.
*Picture 1 is my favourite of Buddy (with Little Red).
*Picture 2 is my first photo of Little Red (taken when I picked her up from the rescue).
*Picture 3 is Little Red happy on one of our road trips!
*Pictures 4 onwards are some of Little Red's adventures with me for the (almost) 3 years I had her.

I just checked my photo reel, and tomorrow is Lola's 1 year "gotchya day".

Meaning I took her home as a beautiful 13yo foster to adopt doggy 1 year ago tomorrow!!

Lovely Lola!!! If you look at photos of the beautiful old rescues that came before her, she has a piece of each of them.

She is the 6th from 6th "working breed" that has proven absolutely wonderful with the rescue cats and kittens that found their way here.

Like the other female dogs, she does NOT want to share her home with other dogs! Cats are cool though :)

I planned "LOLA'S DAY OUT" tomorrow, without realising it wss our 1 year anniversary!

YES, there is a porterhouse steak in the freezer for Lola!

Adopting an old dog is not for everyone. The goodbyes come way too quick and crush your heart... But the special time you get to give an oldie a happy and safe end of life is priceless.

Me & Lola are planning her day out tomorrow.

Due to the ridiculous petrol prices, we are staying close to home.
We will do the backroads to Kapunda, stopping off for lots of photos!

Sundays are now blocked out for "LOLA'S DAY"! 🐕

I took a couple of snaps today on my way home :)

Happy Heavenly Birthday Muffy 💗

Muffy was my first rescue pet!
I adopted her from the RSPCA in 2003, just after I bought my first property.

She passed at almost 17yo in 2020. She is the reason I kept adopting rescues over the years. Her ashes have moved with me.

Poor Muffy went from being the only pet, to sharing with 3 other cats and 1 cat-friendly kelpie!

CANOLA FIELDS PHOTOGRAPY

This may be the last good weekend to head up to mid-lnorth SA.

Mandatory Rule 1: NEVER trespass on private land!
Mandatory Rule 2: Take your photos (safely) from the side of the road, or hiking/walking tracks
Rule 3: Watch out for wildlife, especially around dusk & dawn

Optional Rule 3: Support local country busineses where possible
Optional Rule 3: Don"t be afraid of exploring the back roads.
Optional Rule 4: Make a whole day of it and explore all the amazing places up here.

Still a NO from me.....

If money was irrelevant; I would spend my time with animals, nature, and people in recovery!

Animal cuddles, hiking, walking, holistic health, sunrises, sunsets, roadtrips, plane trips, campfires with like-minded people, exploring, and photographing it all!

What would you do????
