Enjoy Afternoon Tea and help make a difference.

For the third consecutive year, Pendray Tea House is proud to support Purple Thursday, an initiative of the Canadian Royal Purple Society and BC Brain Injury Association, raising awareness of the connection between intimate partner violence and traumatic brain injury.

On Sunday, October 18, simply book and enjoy our Traditional Afternoon Tea as usual, and 50% of all Afternoon Tea revenue from the day will be donated to Canadian Royal Purple in support of this important cause.

Gather your friends and family and enjoy an afternoon of delicate finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones, handcrafted sweets and tea in the beautiful setting of our historic Victorian mansion, knowing that half of your Afternoon Tea purchase will help make a difference.

In recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, our team at the Huntingdon Hotel & Suites and Pendray Inn & Tea House proudly wear orange, while reflecting on what reconciliation asks of us beyond a single day. Our commitment is to continue learning and to turn that learning into meaningful action throughout the year.

We are proud to be recognized by Indigenous Tourism BC as a Friend of ITBC - Allyship Tier of the Wolf, reflecting significant engagement and a commitment to humility, understanding and education.

Closer to home, we are also honoured to continue our annual support of the Victoria Native Friendship Centre, through a $2 contribution for every occupied room night for the week, helping reinvest a portion of our success back into the community.

We are grateful to live, work and welcome visitors on the traditional territories of the Lək̓ʷəŋən peoples, represented today by the Songhees and Xʷsepsəm Nations, and recognize that territorial acknowledgement carries with it a responsibility to continue learning, listening and building respectful relationships.
