My husband and 2 girls (13/11) visited Vacheroy in May 2026. It was a long journey down (13hrs approx with stops ) but I can safely say was worth the trip. The Gite has everything you need - it is equipped well, and beautifully presented and maintained. The layout is quirky and the girls loved the mezzanine floor with double bed up there and the den area. The outdoor space is just so peaceful, you can hear every type of bird including cuckoo’s and woodpeckers !!! The pool is the perfect temperature, with added bonus of the most comfortable floating beanbags !!! Great shaded area, which was a godsend in 40+ degree heat we had !!
The outdoor space has everything for everyone, seated shaded spaces including a couple of hammocks and a tree swing - great spot to read and sway!
There is also a fab games area with pool/snooker table, and ping pong, and a much love vintage pac man arcade game !
The hosts cannot do enough for you, always there to answer any questions about the Gite or the local area - I took full use of this !!! We will most likely return as truly relaxed within 24hrs of arriving. Thanks again to Mark & Sandra .. if you’re looking and unsure - don’t hesitate you won’t regret it.
