Inspired by ‘Loughrigg- tales of a small mountain’ we did a short 6 mile walk to Lily’s Tarn last night. So beautiful and peaceful. Two of our rooms are named after Loughrigg Fell as they along with the garden have a great view of it. Why not read the book and come and explore Loughrigg yourself all whilst staying in the comfort of Elterwater park?

The Barn owl at Elterwater Park. We now seem to have a pair and it was a real privilege to see them both so close up last night! And then treated to a beautiful cloud inversion this morning! Who needs a TV when there is so much nature to look at from Elterwater Park. Why not book your stay now!
