Our homes are getting into the Halloween spirit with some fantastic pumpkin carving and decorating!🎃

Residents at Aldringham Court, Bedhampton Court and The Chase have been getting creative with pumpkins, from colouring and decorating to carving their own spooky designs. With a helping hand from the care teams, everyone could get involved in their own way, enjoying a fun-filled afternoon of creativity and time together.

With plenty of autumnal fun and spooky surprises in store, our homes are looking frightfully fabulous and getting ready for Halloween! 🕸️🧡

A little Christmas magic and lots of laughter! 🎄🦌

During a lovely afternoon at Aylsham Garden Centre, one of The Manor House residents was thoroughly entertained by a singing reindeer, and that infectious laugh says it all! There was time to enjoy tea, cake and a look at the festive decorations, but it was the reindeer that really stole the show.

Moments like these make a day out extra special! 💙

Uvedale Hall enjoyed a fabulous 1920s-themed party to celebrate all the residents with October birthdays!🎉

Everyone got into the spirit of the occasion, enjoying an afternoon of music, glamorous dresses, passion fruit vodka cocktails and a delicious birthday cake. 🥂🎂

It was a wonderful opportunity to bring everyone together, celebrate these special milestones and enjoy an afternoon filled with fun and festivities! 🧡

Our residents have been getting creative with a wonderful range of autumn-inspired arts and crafts, bringing seasonal colour and charm into their homes. 🍂

At Cedar Court, residents transformed pumpkins into beautiful flower arrangements, filling them with colourful blooms to create stunning autumn decorations. They were so pleased with their creations that they asked for them to be displayed in the dining rooms for everyone to enjoy! 🌼🎃

Over at Tenchley Manor and The Hillings, residents embraced the season by making autumn wreaths to decorate their rooms and brighten up the lounges.🍁

Meanwhile, at Ladymead, there was plenty of pumpkin painting fun, with residents putting their own creative touches on their seasonal designs. 🫟

Activities like these offer a lovely opportunity for residents to express their creativity, spend time together and enjoy the changing seasons. We love seeing the beautiful decorations appearing across our homes! 🧡

There’s nothing quite like a spot of home baking to bring everyone together! 🧁🍂

🍪🧶Residents at Barking Hall enjoyed a busy day of activities, from a morning of knitting and nattering to baking delicious mince pies and biscuits in the afternoon.

🍫Over at Haughgate House, residents got creative in the kitchen, making cheese and chocolate turnovers to enjoy with supper.

🍂🎃Meanwhile, residents at The Chase embraced the flavours of autumn by making their very own pumpkin cheesecake, which earned a fantastic 10 out of 10!

From trying new recipes to enjoying familiar favourites, baking is a wonderful way to get creative, share skills and spend quality time together. And of course, the best part is getting to enjoy the tasty treats at the end! 🧡

Aldringham Court has been wearing it pink for a wonderful cause!🩷

Residents, visitors and team members came together for a special Community Coffee Morning, with everyone getting involved by adding a splash of pink to their outfits. There was plenty of fun and a lovely opportunity for everyone to enjoy a cuppa, catch up and spend time together. ☕️

A huge thank you to everyone who joined in, wore pink and helped make the morning such an enjoyable occasion! 🌸💜

We’ve had some more special four-legged visitors at The Old Vicarage and Blandford Grange! 🫏

Residents at The Old Vicarage enjoyed a visit from a miniature donkey and pony from Twinnies Petting Farm, bringing plenty of smiles and opportunities to interact with these lovely animals.

Meanwhile, at Blandford Grange, a cheeky donkey made its way around the home, visiting residents in their rooms and being thoroughly enjoyed by everyone!

Animal visits can bring so much joy, comfort and companionship, creating special moments and brightening everyone’s day! 💙

There’s nothing quite like the happiness a four-legged friend can bring! 🐾

Residents at Claremont House enjoyed a special visit from Soppy Sid at Pet Therapy, bringing plenty of opportunities for gentle strokes, treats and precious moments together.

As this lovely moment shows, spending time with animals can bring so much joy, comfort and companionship. Seeing such a big smile says it all! 🐶💜

Residents at Walcot Hall enjoyed some lovely plant potting with a little help from some special visitors! 🌷

The home welcomed Year 1 children from a local Primary School, who helped plant hyacinths, miniature narcissus, crocuses and miniature daffodils in tubs for the patio, ready to bring a splash of colour when spring arrives.

The children also entertained residents with a cheerful song, before enjoying some well-earned squash and biscuits.🎶

It was a wonderful afternoon of gardening, music and spending time together, and everyone is looking forward to seeing the flowers bloom in spring! 🌼💙

A huge congratulations to the wonderful residents and team at Sovereign Lodge for their fantastic Memory Walk last month!💙🦋

Residents, families and staff came together to support the Alzheimer’s Society, helping to raise awareness and show their support for everyone affected by dementia. It was lovely to see everyone getting involved in such a meaningful cause.

Well done to everyone who took part and a big thank you to the families and local community for their kindness and support. You should all be incredibly proud! 💙🦋
